In October 2015 Berkeley Homes obtained planning permission to redevelop the former Kingston Gas Works site. We are now building 328 high quality residential units, some of which will be shared ownership for key workers who live or work within the borough.

As part of our approach we will be investing over £2.2 million in the local community. This will be spent on education and healthcare in the borough; a new linear park; improved pedestrian and cycle paths; a new Village Hall; and a new culinary training restaurant in conjunction with Kingston College.

Working closely with key stakeholders from the community and the local authority, Berkeley is taking a comprehensive approach to the redevelopment of this site.  Throughout the construction period we will continue to engage with the local community by hosting regular update meetings and publishing a quarterly newsletter.

We hope that the information included within these pages is useful and we would like to thank you for your patience and co-operation during the on-going site works.
